The Ideal Establishment for a Comfortable Stay
Honeylocust Guesthouse is a family run business by the Nel, Lingenfelder and Kruger families. Their friends, the Botha family, also have shares in the business but are silent partners. It all started in 2008 when they purchased an old house in Colesberg and transformed it into 6 luxury rooms. The rooms were opened to the public in September 2009.
In 2010 they made the decision to expand the business and made an offer to one of their neighbours to buy her property. She accepted and renovation of the existing house on the property started in September 2010. The next phase was the building of another 9 rooms.
The family members were in charge of the whole project, from planning of the buildings to interior decorating. The project was completed in September 2011.
No two rooms are the same and every room has its unique character. Emphasis in the rooms is placed on simplicity and quality products. Bathrooms are spacious and all rooms have en-suite bathrooms. The location of Honeylocust is excellent and the spacious gardens give a relaxed atmosphere.
Whether you are in Colesberg for business, just one night or intend to spend longer, you will find that Honeylocust is the ideal establishment for a comfortable stay.
